Governor Inslee’s oil train bill that addresses the findings from the year long Oil Transport Study passed the WA State House on a 60 to 38 bipartisan vote. Now the bill goes on to the Washington Senate where a powerful conservative senator with his own bill, favored by the railroads and oil industry, will seek to terminate the progressive bill.
