Hood River Solidarity March & Silent Meditation

On March 10 Standing Rock and Native Nations will lead a march in prayer and action in Washington D.C. to defend their rights to protect the waters, the waters that connect us all. The Standing Rock Sioux Nation and indigenous grassroots leaders call on their allies to rise in solidarity with them and with the waters.

Join us in creating powerful, peaceful energy in our community to support the Standing Rock movement and to send loving, healing energy to the waters and water protectors.

10am-10:30am: gather at salmon statue on corner of 2nd & State St (bring signs & sign-making materials)
10:30am: Silent peaceful march to Hood River Waterfront park
11am: Join us at Hood River Waterfront park
11:15am: 10 min Silent Meditation at waters edge (swim beach) (bring towel or blanket if wanted)
11:30am: If inspired stay to share prayers, songs, blessings to send to Standing Rock and the waters
