November Meeting: Hood River Energy Plan and State Climate Policy Options

As the climate emergency worsens, we must increase our climate-friendly actions and policy advocacy at all levels–personal, county, state, and national. At this month’s meeting we’ll focus on climate actions and policies at the local and state level. We start with an update on the Hood River County Energy Plan, followed by discussion and brainstorming around how community groups and individuals can help to communicate and implement the plan’s strategies. Then we’ll survey the election results and discuss and debate climate policy options at the state level for both Oregon and Washington. Join us for these important updates and dialogue.
