Utilities & Electric Cars: How Utilities Are Advancing Electric Transportation

April 25, 2018 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

$25

Each electric vehicle will use roughly $10,000 of electricity in its useful lifetime…

Discover how electric utilities are working to make public charging more accessible to consumers.

We will be joined by three guest speakers representing our regional utilities: Pacific Power, Portland General Electric and Rocky Mountain Power. Oregon’s Senate Bill 1547 requires Oregon’s two largest utilities, Portland General Electric and PacifiCorp to develop programs for accelerating transportation electrification. These plans have been approved by the Oregon Public Utility Commission and guest speakers Aaron Milano(PGE) and Eli Morris (PacifiCorp) will share their utilities’ respective plans and how they will advance electric mobility in the Portland area. James Campbell of Rocky Mountain Power will discuss the WestSmart EV Program, a regional program advancing electric mobility in the western states. James will be highlighting efforts in Utah, focusing on the successes, challenges and lessons learned from Rocky Mountain’s current programs.

Registration for this event is $15 for Forth members and $25 for the general public. Registration includes appetizers as well as local wine and beer. Not a member yet? Join today!
