Tree Planting at Mosier’s Great River Memorial Cemetery and Youth Camp

Meet in Mosier across from the Mosier Store on Highway 30. Planting ponderosa pine seedlings in a Remembrance Grove to honor and celebrate women who have experienced miscarriages.

WHY PLANT TREES?
- Trees sequester the carbon which we pour into the atmosphere when we drive cars and heat our homes using fossil fuels.
- The number of trees on our planet has dropped by 46% and we need to plant more trees for keeping our oceans & rivers cool, & the air clean.
- The United Nations calls for each human being to plant 140 trees in their lifetime.
