Because the climate crisis now demands more than just one Earth Day.
For the fifty first anniversary of Earth Day on April 22, 2021, Columbia Gorge Climate Action Network is joining with others to celebrate our Earth and the Columbia River Gorge, not just for a day – or even a week – but for the entire month of April.
We are planning a month-long series of earth-centered events throughout the Gorge in April. The goal is to celebrate, honor and show our love for the Earth and build our on-line community. We’ll have reminders to go green, listen to podcasts and watch movies, some with discussion groups afterwards.
We invite your suggestions for programs. We also encourage you to create your own Earth Month event, using our Zoom channel and outreach. To submit program ideas or to discuss holding an Earth Month event please contact peter@gorgefriends.org or call 541-490-8473. Come back to our website soon to see CGCAN calendar to see what’s on the docket so far for Earth Month.
