Today’s talk is part of a larger presentation to resume this autumn when Darryl Lloyd will add his 50 years of expertise chronicling the demise of snow/glaciers on Mt. Adams and Mt. Hood.

The April 9 talk will focus on climate change impacts to Gorge fish and wildlife residents, those trying to survive in the mountains and salmon/steelhead who are challenged by way too warm Columbia River temperatures.

Bill Weiler is a career wildlife biologist and is currently the Habitat Restoration Coordinator for the Sandy River Basin Watershed Council. He is the founder and president of GEO’s , Gorge Ecology Institute and Trees of the Gorge, which aims to plant 1, 000, 000 trees in the Columbia Gorge.
