Sustainable Northwest 2017 Fall Energy Symposium in Hood River

Please join Sustainable Northwest in partnership with Hood River County and Lake County Resources Initiative for the second annual Fall Energy Symposium. This 2-day event brings together community leaders, businesses, elected officials, ranchers, farmers, and agency partners to identify strategies to advance clean energy initiatives across Oregon.

The theme for this year is community resiliency through emergency preparedness and energy independence.

When: Monday, October 16th -Tuesday, October 17th, 2017

Where: Best Western Plus Hood River Inn, 1108 E Marina Dr., Hood River, OR

Tickets: $65, includes light refreshments Monday, breakfast, and lunch on Tuesday.

A special social hour at pFriem Family Brewers will be hosted Monday, October 16th with Rick Williams, a leading expert in energy resiliency. Beer, wine, and hors-d’oeuvres are provided. Cost is $10 and space is limited.

Our 2017 keynote speaker is Debra Smith, General Manager for the Central Lincoln People’s Utility District. Debra will share strategies the central coast is pursuing to prepare for greater community resiliency and emergency preparedness.
