Earth Day Beach Cleanups: Hood River and Vancouver

Hood River: Join us for an Earth Day Cleanup on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, meet at the Hood River Spit Parking Area downstream from the Hood River pedestrian bridge. FootWise Hood River and Columbia Riverkeeper are partnering to host this Earth Day event. Volunteers will enter a raffle for a chance to win a pair of Keen shoes donated by FootWise and Keen.

Vancouver: Help us keep the Columbia River clean by participating in a beach cleanup on Saturday, April 22, 2017, from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, at Frenchman’s Bar Park 7495 NW Lower River Road, Vancouver, WA. By removing litter from the banks of the Columbia, you will prevent that litter from ultimately entering the Pacific Ocean. We look forward to celebrating Earth Day with our volunteers! We will provide bags, gloves, and light refreshments for everyone after the event. Clark County Parks, SOLVE, and Columbia Riverkeeper are partnering to host this Earth Day event.
