CGCAN monthly action meeting: Accelerating Sustainable Energy

October 16, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

At October’s monthly action meeting we’re fortunate to host Bonnie Norman, a resident of White Salmon and consultant for Tesla, speaking on  “Sustainable Energy Accelerators and Roadblocks – Perspective from a Front Row Seat”. The adoption curves for electric vehicles (EVs), solar rooftops, and battery storage are rapidly changing and could be the most effective emission reduction force in the market. We’ll hear about the current state of various legislation, EV model offerings, and how we can accelerate clean options.

Our Monthly Action Meetings provide news you can use and actions that make a difference to the climate crisis. These regular meetings are on the third Monday of each month, at Riverside Church, 4th & State Street, Hood River, OR. Please join a friendly group of Columbia Gorge activists either for a potluck dinner or meeting afterwards. To RSVP for the potluck please email peter@gorgefriends.org or call 541-490-8473.Come at 6 PM for dinner and bring a salad or dessert but if you are short of time just come, there is always plenty of  food.
