CGCAN monthly action meeting: Oregon Legislative Update

At our June action meeting we will start with a potluck dinner at 6 PM, then sharing and announcements at 6:30-7:00, followed by a discussion with Jana Gastellum, who is Climate Program Director at the Oregon Environmental Council (OEC). Jana is instrumental in state climate and environmental legislative efforts in Salem. We’ll hear what our Oregon environmental NGOs are trying to achieve, what bills worked or didn’t in the 2017 session and why, what is next, and how grassroots organizations like CGCAN can contribute. Jana will also brief us on decisions by Portland and Multnomah County to target 100% renewable power by 2050. Bring your questions and curiosity!
