12-1 PM, Indigenous Leadership Part 2

A two part series hosted by Thomas Lopez, Chair of Board of IIYC (International Indigenous Youth Council) & Partnership Coordinator at Future Coalition, the series will cover The Indigenous Leadership Toolkit as a resource and a guide for non-Indigenous people to use when organizing with Indigenous people and communities.  It will cover language awareness and relationship building, while also highlighting the importance of moving beyond representation or acknowledgement and into offering meaningful leadership roles for Indigenous people.

This week, members of the International Indigenous Youth Council (IIYC) will present a panel discussion between Indigenous youth leaders on Indigenous youth empowerment, stories from the frontlines and how COVID-19 is affecting our many communities.
