Columbia Gorge Wildlife:  Some You Know, Some You Don’t…and what you can do to help them!   Wrapping up the short presentation series with the latest information on Columbia Gorge wildlife, some you know…How is the Mt. Hood wolf pack doing?  Why are deer numbers down, while elk populations are up?  We’ll meet rare re-introduced fisher in the Gorge. And where are all the mountain goats and porcupine?  And I’ll give my best argument why Bigfoot just might exist!!

Bill Weiler is a career wildlife biologist and is currently the Habitat Restoration Coordinator for the Sandy River Basin Watershed Council. He is the founder and president of GEO’s , Gorge Ecology Institute and Trees of the Gorge, which aims to plant 1, 000, 000 trees in the Columbia Gorge.
