On the 50th anniversary of the first Earth Day, join Plug In America, Sierra Club, and Electric Auto Association for a free, live streaming event, honoring the positive impact electric vehicles have on the health of our planet and its inhabitants.

The event will be streamed on Facebook Live, but you do not need a Facebook account to view the event.

  • Leilani Münter, race car driver and environmental activist
  • Dan Neil, Wall Street Journal automotive columnist

The event will also feature engaging short videos, a live musical performance, useful information, and much more.

Transportation is the leading cause of greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S., with light-duty vehicles accounting for the majority of those. Drive Electric Earth Day highlights the need to transition from gasoline-fueled vehicles to clean transportation, including plug-in electric vehicles, in order to reduce the effects of climate change.
